Join the MoJo Revolution, Vancouver 2010 with VeriCorder.

When the BC International Media Centre for the Winter Olympics officially opened on February 8, 2010, VeriCorder Technology unveiled the MoJo Revolution, a revolutionary new way to gather and distribute news using a smart phone.  VeriCorder produces both software and hardware for mobile wireless platforms, primarily geared around audio and video production.  The company also specializes in iPhone-based enterprise software for journalists, podcasters and other multimedia professionals.  The idea is to create a news or media network, based entirely on an iPhone.

VeriCorder is a Canadian high-tech company with headquarters and R&D labs in Kelowna, BC.  In 2010, VeriCorder will release four software programs through the iPhone App Store, and for enterprise deployment, all designed to make it fast and easy to record, edit and send fully-crafted stories from the field into the newsroom.  VeriCorder specializes in integrating mobile software into newsroom systems, allowing reporters to create a television, radio, or web news story, and post it instantly into common playout systems.

Reporters were at Olympic venues equipped with VeriCorder software and hardware on their iPhones.  They created their multimedia stories on the iPhone, submitted their stories wirelessly, and VeriCorder’s platform software submitted them to a live-streaming video site.

SIDIT is proud to be a supporter of VeriCorder in the development of this revolutionary news gathering tool for smart phones introduced at the Olympic Games.
