Enterprising non-profits have just published their 2009 Annual Activities Report and what a great year they have had.

SIDIT became a funding partner with Enterprising Non-Profits (enp) in October, 2009.

“This is a great match and partnership for enp’s goals to support the development and growth of social enterprise across BC,” said David LePage, enp’s Program Manager.

SIDIT joined enp’s other nine funding partners who collectively provide grants and resources to non-profit organizations across BC to develop and grow social enterprises.  The SIDIT funds will leverage additional investment and support into their geographic region through the collaborative funding model of enp.

Social enterprises are businesses operated by non-profit organizations for the dual purpose of generating income from sales and providing a social, cultural or environmental value.
