SIDIT’s program funding for 2009/2010 has been fully subscribed. 
Applications received prior to August 25, 2009 are being reviewed by our staff.  Applicants will be contacted when the review process is complete.

No new applications will be accepted until further notice.

 

How long does the Stage 1 Application Review process take?

Generally the process is expected to take 8 weeks from the time an Application is received and checked for consistency and overall fit within the Application Guidelines.  Applicants will be notified in writing once a determination of project eligibility has been made.

What is the deadline for Applications?

There are no application deadlines as such.  SIDIT invites applications on a continuous basis and the review process will evaluate projects on individual merit as opposed to using a competitive evaluation process.

Are grants available to private businesses?

“For profit” entities are not eligible for grants.

What is the maximum grant that can be applied for?

The limits for grant funding are $10,000. to $50,000. SIDIT has allocated a total of $750,000. for grant funding annually.

Grants may be combined with loans for qualifying projects to a combined maximum of $ 1 million.
